Special events kick off Monday, 6 p.m., at the library auditorium with “The Lure of Music, a Human Universal” presented by internationally-recognized music scholar Fredric Lieberman, Ph.D., a distinguished professor of music at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

CARSON CITY, NEVADA-The Carson City Library would like to invite the entire community to participate in a citywide reading initiative to discuss the timely, and powerful message found in Khaled Hosseini’s best seller, A Thousand Splendid Suns.
Friends of the Library Book Sale

The sale will feature adult fiction and nonfiction, children's books, videos and a special donation of science fiction. The event runs Friday, April 9, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
