Host Brother Dan Palmer will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Kennemur for an afternoon of music, chat, and storytelling at the Bank Saloon on Monday. The show welcomes a live audience, and streams weekly on Facebook at the host’s music page: Brother Dan Palmer.

The 2022 Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl will take place Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Reno, featuring an exploratory day of literary events. Over 40 fiction, non-fiction, and poetry readings, as well as panel discussions, book signings, art installations and projects, and creative workshops are part of the 2022 Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl.

Singer songwriter Tim Goldsmith will join host Brother Dan Palmer for an afternoon of music, chat, and storytelling as the host interviews Goldsmith about his career and upcoming appearances. The show streams on Mondays from the Bank Saloon in Carson City and gives local audiences an up-close and personal look at local performers.

Local musician Craig Fletcher returns to The Brother Dan Show on August 22. Well-known to local audiences due to his near-two-decade run performing at Glen Eagles, Fletcher has been appearing at a number of different venues recently. A very accomplished multi-instrumentalist (mainly guitar), singer, and recording engineer, Craig will join the host for a nice long set of acoustic music.

Mark your calendar for the 2nd annual "Watercolor Carson City 2022", a fundraiser for CIRCLES Initiative and a WNC scholarship.

Activities include a juried watercolor art competition, “Plein Air” painting in Carson City on Saturday, Sept 17, a free watercolor demonstration at the BAC on Saturday afternoon, and the awards gala at the Governor’s Mansion on Sunday, Sept. 18, 1-4 pm.

Singer/songwriter Karrie O’Neill will be featured this Monday on The Brother Dan Show, which streams live on Facebook from Bank Saloon in Carson City Mondays at 5pm. Hailing from Spokane, WA, O’Neill has located to Reno after a four-year stay in Maui, and is finding lots of opportunities to perform here in Northern Nevada.

Monday, August 8 host Brother Dan Palmer will be joined by Jimmy Rossi at Bank Saloon in Carson City. The two will chat about all of the projects and appearances in the singer/multi-instrumentalist’s near future, while they play a wide ranging set of music.

Brian Lester and Buster Chops perform this week at Mangia Tutto this Thursday located at 200 N. Stewart st. from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. You can also enjoy the band at Bank Saloon this Saturday from 8pm to 11pm. Bank Saloon is located on the corner of Carson and 5th streets.

Chihuahua Desert will join host Brother Dan Palmer for an afternoon of music and chat, at the Bank Saloon in Carson City. The band is from Oregon, bills itself as a fiesta band, and performs a blend of classic country and western music, including iconic Mexican musicians Freddy Fender, Van Sant of Ft. Worth, and Jimenez of Dolores Hidalgo, along with American icons including Gene Autry and Johnny Cash.

Monday, July 11, Brother Dan Palmer will feature Eric Henry Andersen in a rescheduled appearance. A founding member of Reno band The Novelists, the casual chat and jam format will give audiences a close-up view into his life and career.

High Desert Harmony Chorus is pleased to present Harmony in the Park: A Celebration of Barbershop Music. All Carson City singers and music lovers are welcome to join us on Saturday evening, July 16th in Downtown Reno's Wingfield Park to celebrate this uniquely American music style!

We'll begin at 6:30pm with a workshop on barbershop music (all ages encouraged!). Participants will experience the joys of singing in four-part harmony and will join the performers on stage to sing the “tag” they learn.

This Monday, May 30, the Bank Saloon will be CLOSED in observance of Memorial Day, so the Brother Dan Show will be ONLINE ONLY, this week only.

This Thursday evening the "Buster Chops" band performs on the patio of Mangia Tutto, located on the corner of Stewart and Musser streets.Come join us from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for great live music, wonderful Italian food and tasty cocktails. This Saturday Buster Chops perform at Bank Saloon on the patio from 7pm - 10pm.

The show will take a one-week pause in broadcasting, but the show must go on, and the local in-person audience will be treated to a fun afternoon of music by the show’s director, Brian Lester.
