The utter significance of this piece of real estate seems remote and of little concern to so many. Even those who consider themselves "up to speed" with the news often neglect to read, digest, and think about the ancient history of this region of the world. Perhaps the most required reading material is that of the Bible, the world's most read book of all times. We can read from as many books, etc.

Equipped only with magnetic-north compasses and maps, these cadets have found their way to the Navy JROTC Orienteering Championships for the third straight year.

Senator Square: Carson High senior projects are more than a graduation requirement
Submitted by editor on Sat, 12/24/2016 - 8:31pmRaynna Jackson began helping with Toys for Tots at the Ron Wood center before Thanksgiving in order to fulfill her CHS Senior Project graduation requirement; she decided to help give underprivileged children a Merry Christmas.
She started by putting boxes at CHS and her mother’s place of employment, Natel Company. Toys for Tots serves more than 2,000 Carson City area kids every Christmas, and Raynna took this personally; she wanted to help bring in even more gifts. Raynna ultimately facilitated the gathering of 2 large boxes of toys.
