According to Dickson Commercial Group (DCG), Sierra Nevada Media Group has sold the 90,056-square-foot industrial building located at 580 Mallory Way in Carson City for $11.3 million.

The property has been home to the Nevada Appeal since 2002.

The Carson City Board of Supervisors voted to create a new ordinance relating to hemp cultivation within city limits on Thursday, allowing for indoor cultivation within certain zoning districts, effectively blocking outdoor agricultural cultivation.

New Nevada System of Higher Education Chancellor Dr. Melody Rose spent the morning visiting Western Nevada College facilities on Thursday in Carson City. Dr. Rose is touring all of NSHE’s college campuses during her first month as chancellor.
