Ladies Fly Fishing Clinic at Fuji Park April 27

This one-day event is open to the public, but advance registration is necessary.
Capital City Farm Days in Carson City to teach youth about Nevada agriculture

There will be about 30 presenters teaching elementary-age youth about Nevada agriculture, where food and fiber come from, and environmental issues related to agriculture.

Attendees can expect art, antiques, collectibles, and lots and lots of miscellaneous.
Multiple agencies respond to Fuji Park, tase larceny suspect
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Fri, 02/08/2019 - 3:42pmMultiple law enforcement agencies from Carson City and Douglas County were on scene Friday afternoon near the equestrian area of Fuji Park in South Carson City, according to Carson City Dispatch, where a larceny suspect who fled the Wal-Mart on Topsy Lane has been tasered.
A taser was used to detain the suspect, dispatch reports, and Carson City firefighter-paramedics were called to the scene to check on the suspect.

Carson City Host Lions Club 20th Annual Crab Feed

The donation is $55 per ticket and gets you into the "all you can eat" crab extravaganza. Raffles, auctions, music and dancing will also be part of the festivities.
