Then at about 11:55 a.m., a second gas leak was reported to dispatch at a residence in the 2400 block of South Lompa Lane.

NV Energy reports a power outage Sunday afternoon in the area of Fifth Street and Ruth that happened shortly after 1 p.m. Carson City Fire Department advised of a tree that hit a power line in the area, which caused the outage.

UPDATE: 10:50AM: Carson City firefighters on scene have investigated visible smoke behind a residence in the 3200 block of Banjo Court, and have determined the flames have been knocked down by area residents.
The burned area is estimated at about 60-by-20 feet in size. Fire crews are now mopping up the fire area.
NV Energy is also being dispatched to the scene. Firefighters on scene report trees in the area appear to be interfering with electrical lines.
