Let me tell you, there’s plenty of fun to come! Tonight, you can check out Mo’z Motley Blues at the Brewery Arts Center or the Whitehats at Westside Pour House. It’s also opening night for the kids of Youth Theater Carson City: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is at the Community Center at 7 p.m.

Local favorite Stereo Galaxy teams up with Southern California performer, Loc Lion, for a show at Sassafras. You’ll find the Remains at Westside Pour House, and Jaime Rollins keeps it rollin at Living the Good Life. Just Sayin’ is this months featured talent in the Brewery Arts Center’s Eclectic Electric Series.

Are you ready to paint the town green? St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaches and there will be plenty of Irish action throughout town. The festivities start this weekend with the annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Fest in Virginia City, complete with a parade and saloon crawl.

Nugget debuts new Eatery, Coffee and Wine Bar, and Comedy with ribbon cutting

Something new has been brewing at the Nugget and you are welcome to the grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday. Come for happy hour from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.; Bob Crowell and Assemblyman P.K. O’Neill will be on hand to cut the ribbon at 7 p.m.

World Record Holding Comedian Geechy Guy at Carson Comedy club inside Carson Nugget

A world recorder holder will be on stage live, March 27, 7:30 p.m. at the Carson Comedy club inside the Carson Nugget. Geechy Guy landed himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records record when he told 676 jokes in one hour.

Geech was invited to San Francisco to compete in the prestigious Comedy where he finished in the top 10 out of 500 comics, two years in a row. Shortly after Geech secured a spot on TV’s “Star Search,” (where he beat Ray Romano among others) and went on to set the record for the most appearances by a comedian.

Farley has been seen in films such as Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. He played a starring role as "Doug Linus" on MTV's sitcom 2gether where he was met with rave reviews.

Opening night at Carson Comedy with Headliner Sean Peabody

Carson Comedy is expanding into Carson City and is partnering with the Carson Nugget to further its mission to spread laughter in Northern Nevada. The venue will officially open on Friday, March 6 with fan favorite Sean Peabody at 7:30pm.

Producer Wayne Wright expressed enthusiasm about the new launch on March 6th, stating, “Good comedy is hard to find in Northern Nevada. As long as there is a need for laughter, I will keep bringing in comedians to entertain.”
