We will be open at 11 am and run for the duration of the Carson City Wine Walk at 5 pm. This event is Family and Kid Friendly. We will have Crafters, Vendors, and Merchants showing their latest products. We will also have Food, and Music.

Summer weekends make me wish I had a clone. With all the hustle and bustle in town, there is just no way to do and see it all. Start the day at the Silver Dollar Car Classic and you can get your fill of shiny chrome and breakfast, too; the Kiwanis will be serving up pancakes until 10:30 a.m. The Downtown Carson City Wine Walk has been infiltrated by the Jazz and Beyond Music Festival. Several of the stops will be hosting musicians, in addition to vino.

Artrepreneurs put their work on display in Carson City

McKenzie Martin and Breeanne Yeoman noticed the balloons in front of The Studio at Adams Hub during the Downtown Carson City Wine Walk on Saturday. They stopped in to find the exhibit of artists who are enrolled in the Northern Nevada Artrepreneurs Workshop.

The Nevada Press Association is hosting "Iconic Nevada: Plein Air Paintings from around the State", a show and sale of works by Erik Holland. The show opens Saturday February 4, (1–6 pm) for the monthly Carson City wine walk. A special reception will be held the evening of Wednesday, February 8 (4–8 pm) to welcome the Nevada legislators to the 2017 session.

Carson City weather: Weekend activities may be soggy with rain in the forecast

Showers and thunderstorms may develop Friday afternoon around Carson City with the potential for heavier bands of precipitation arriving early Saturday morning, a National Weather Service forecaster said.

National Weather Service meteorologist Zach Colby said the brunt of Friday’s weather will be north of Interstate 80, possibly moving southward into the afternoon and early evening.

The rain Saturday didn't dampen July 4 wine walkers in downtown Carson City. With all the stops in place, maps and wine glasses in hand, these wine walkers brought their partiotic spirit with them, tasting assorted red and white varietals.

Today's wine walk is going to be the best yet with Rice Street on the north end of downtown offering a shop local street faire. Vendors, Crafters, and artisans will be set up in the streets.

Brewery Arts Center releases spring education catalog, demonstrations today during Wine Walk

The Brewery Arts Center in Carson City has released its Spring Arts Education Catalog. You can view the courses below or go to the website here or learn more about it during a Saturday demonstration during the Downtown Carson City Wine Walk.
