However, the committee plans to go ahead with the second annual Open Studios Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23. Admission is free.
The Brewery Arts Center’s Flatbed Concert Series presents Carolyn Dolan & Big Red in West Carson City

Miles Construction Company has generously donated the use of a Flatbed Truck and with financial support from The Change Companies, the Nauman Foundation, and Carson Tahoe Hospital, the BAC will place musicians and bands on the flatbed and drive them through the streets and neighborhoods of Carson City throughout June and July and August.

Nevada Humanities awards nearly $369K to 46 statewide cultural organizations

Stewart Indian School Cultural Center and Museum in Carson City to reopen Monday

Opened in January and closed to the public in March because of the current health crisis, the Cultural Center faced severe budget cuts.

Nevada Arts Council gives out $392,250 in CARES Act funds to arts groups statewide

Grant amounts ranged from $1,000 to $10,000, based on each group’s total annual revenue.

Children's Museum of Northern Nevada presents: Art Camp Around the World; registration underway

During the 5-day art camp students ages 5-10 will “visit” Asia, South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia to experience the art, culture, and music of these continents. Each day of the week will focus on the art and traditions of each of the continents. Each camper will have their “passport” stamped daily and will design a “travel bag” for all of their camp art projects.
