With tens of thousands of people in Carson City last weekend for local events including Taste of DownTown, the Carson City Airport Open House and the Father's Day Powwow, law enforcement arrest records show a relatively quiet weekend.

Carson City authorities remained busy over the weekend, making several DUI and drug-related arrests.

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said that as of Monday morning reports of vandalism were still coming into the sheriff's office. There have been up to about a dozen reports of vandalism done to cars, houses, schools, businesses and a church, he said.
