Snow and Sun: Readers capture recent weather and aftermath
While not technically winter yet, we've gotten the kind of weather that certainly qualifies. For many the rain and snow has been welcomed given the severity of our prolonged drought.
Carson Now reader Connie Higgons Corley submitted three photos of the state capital grounds taken Monday morning when clouds gave way to clearing skies and, later, sunshine.

The final two photos were taken by Ruth Torres, a passenger inside a vehicle traveling Sunday around noon up Spooner Summit. Click on the photos to enlarge.
