Fine Arts Faire at Carson Mall to include the works of more than 25 artists
The Carson Mall Fine Arts Faire has a powerful synergy of businesses working together and artist advocacy to provide a visual arts show for the Carson City community.
On November 3, 4 and 5, the Carson Mall located at 1313 South Carson Street, Carson City will be hosting the first ever Fine Arts Faire, which will include the work of over 25 artists from primarily Northern Nevada and as far away as Kalispell, Montana.
The Carson Mall, Bridger Mountain Boutique and Charlie B Gallery are working together to provide a free event for not only the public to attend, but for artists where there will be no booth fee to sell their work. There will be pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings, glass, sculpture, furniture and textile art available for purchase as well as other mediums.
Times for this event include November 3 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, November 4 from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm and November 5 from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm. This is an opportunity to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping or find that special item for your home décor.
There will be a focus on the pottery and the painting mediums for the family. A “Pinch Pot Pottery” session will be conducted by Jo and Merrill Moore of the Ogres-Holm Pottery of Carson City. This session will be held from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm on November 4. A “Watercolor” session with Lee Netzel, a multi-award winning artist from Carson City who works in watercolors, pastels and acrylics will be available from 11:00am to 12:00pm on November 5.
And to further enrich this visual arts show, local musicians will be performing each day and include the outstanding sounds of “CW Bayer and Dr. Spitmore” from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on November 3, “Linda Arnn Arteno and Peter Supersano” from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on November 4 and “In Stride” with Stan and Johanna will play guitar and mandolin music from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on November 5.
We welcome all to attend the Carson Mall Fine Arts Faire and want to extend a personal invitation to Governor Sandoval with a painting of our great leader by Dayton, Nevada artist Diana Uzzell. There is an art and economic movement building in the community of Carson City, Nevada. Let this art event be a catalyst in getting the public to join the movement.
