Nevada Guard Retiree Appreciation Day set for Sept. 10
The long-time military service and dedication of recently-retired Nevada Army Guard soldiers will be recognized Saturday, Sept. 10, in Carson City at 2460 Fairview Ave. during the annual Retiree Appreciation Day.
The day’s events include a retiree ceremony recognizing the Nevada Army Guard’s 2015-2016 retirees at 10 a.m.; military identification card and defense enrollment eligibility updates; and information booths from Veterans organizations. The public is invited.
