Carson City crime log: Deputies make domestic battery, fugitive from justice arrests

A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday on misdemeanor suspicion of being in violation of a suspended sentence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, the man was intoxicated and broke a window at a residence in the 400 block of Winnie Lane. The victim advised deputies the man, her brother-in-law, had been kicked off the property and was not supposed to be there.
Dispatch advised the suspect was on alternative sentencing for domestic battery and was not to have any contact with the victim, his brother, who was also at the residence. Deputies arrested the man for violation of probation. During a search deputies found a gram of marijuana, empty plastic bags with methamphetamine residue and two glass methamphetamine pipes. Bail: $2,874.
In other arrests:
— A 51-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, both of Dayton, were arrested Wednesday, 3:28 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery.
Two were involved in a dispute at a casino with family members where the man allegedly attempted to hit another man. The woman allegedly punched her stepmother with closed fists and pulled her hair. Bail: $3,137 each.
— A 29-year-old woman who is in jail on charges had a felony fugitive from justice warrant added Wednesday, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Brittany Nash of Truckee, Calif., who is in the Carson City jail was served the felony warrant that was issued out of Nevada County, Calif., superior court. Bail: $25,000.
