Carson Chamber Singers to begin rehearsals on April 9 for June and July concerts
The Carson Chamber Singers, a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association, is beginning rehearsals on Tuesday, April 9, for concerts on June 9 and July 4.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., at the LDS Church, 411 N. Saliman Road in Carson City. Carson Chamber Singers, directed by Gary Schwartz and guest director Eric Kao, is open to singers high-school age and above.
The annual, outdoor Pops Party concert will be June 9, at 6:00 p.m., at the Governor's Mansion. The July 4 concert is part of the Genoa Americana Celebration at Mormon Station State Park.

Founded in 1985 as a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association, the Carson Chamber Singers have sung at several venues in northern Nevada and in California. They have sung with the Reno Philharmonic and perform regularly with the Carson City Symphony.
