Lyon County Sheriff's Office: Five jailed in meth bust at Silver Springs 'flop house'
Five people were arrested Monday in Silver Springs following a four-month investigation by the Narcotics Division of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office into methamphetamine sales in the Silver Springs area, authorities said.
A search warrant was executed at 2905 Toiyabe Street in Silver Springs. The home was being used to sell methamphetamine, and acted as a “flop house” for local drug users and dealers, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.
Eight people were detained at the residence, 3 Females and 2 males were arrested with 1 citation being issued. Deputies recovered methamphetamine, marijuana and numerous items of narcotic paraphernalia.
The following people were arrested and booked into the Lyon County Jail with the following charges:
Betty Cramer, 58, of Silver Springs was charged with: Maintaining a residence for the use / sales of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales (methamphetamine). Bail has been set at $30,000.
Kayla Kamrath, 23, of Silver Springs was charged with: Possession of a controlled substance for sales (methamphetamine) Bail has been set at $5,445.
Samantha Frey, 21, of Silver Springs was charged with: Warrant arrest (Failure to Comply), possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Bail has been set at $1,140.
David Christian, 54, of Silver Springs was charged with: Warrant arrest (Failure to appear for drug court review). Christian is being held on a no bail warrant.
Jason Grimes, 42, of Silver Springs was charged with: Possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Bail has been set at $1,140.
