Carson City Judge Tatro earns highest honor in judicial education from Nevada Supreme Court
The Nevada Judges Association, made up of more than 80 justices of the peace and municipal court judges from the Justice and Municipal Courts throughout the State of Nevada honored Carson City Justice of the Peace/Municipal Court Judge John Tatro for receiving the Outstanding Achievement in Judicial Education Award.
This is the highest Nevada Supreme Court’s award for judicial education and was presented by Supreme Court Justice Lidia Stiglich at the 2017 Winter Seminar.
The certificate states that the Honorable John Tatro having demonstrated approval and support of court improvement through continuing judicial education, has completed with honor and distinction the academic curriculum authorized by statute and prescribed by the Judicial Department of the State of Nevada.
The recipient of this is commended for a valuable personal contribution to improvement of the quality of the judiciary in the State of Nevada. Judge Tatro completed 1,000 hours of judicial education.
Judge Tato has been Justice of the Peace/Municipal Court Judge in Carson City, Department II, since 1995.
