Nevada Builders Alliance new Carson City office ribbon cutting today, annual dinner Feb. 16
Nevada Builders Alliance, the Silver State's largest construction and building trade association, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Carson City Chamber of Commerce today, Wednesday, at its new capital city headquarters at 603 South Carson Street.
The ribbon cutting is at 4:30 p.m. followed by happy hour, 5 p.m. at the Bank Saloon, 418 South Carson Street.
Meanwhile, the Builders Alliance will hold its annual dinner Friday, Feb. 16 at The Club at ArrowCreek to announce updates and changes for 2024.
From 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the event will welcome Glen Martel as the new CEO, Melissa Maguire as board president and several new board members. Additionally, NBA will celebrate 2023 industry achievements and discuss exciting new projects for the new year. Tickets for the event start at $100 per person. “We’re excited for the return of our Annual Dinner. The event is used to celebrate industry accomplishments, install our new board, and gather with our members and the community,” said Glen Martel, CEO of the Nevada Builders Alliance. “The Annual Dinner will serve as a kickoff to 2024, allowing us to showcase everything we have in store for the year while discussing moving our industry forward.”
Since its founding in 1966, Nevada Builders Alliance’s mission has been to support builders and all relevant sectors of the construction industry throughout the state. With over 1,100 member companies, the Nevada Builders Alliance supports hard-working Nevadans with health plans, workers' compensation, advocacy and more. NBA is also focused on providing opportunities to young adults looking for career paths in construction through its foundation which regularly holds fundraisers throughout the state.

In addition to installing Maguire as the 2024 board president, NBA will also announce the appointment of Rob McFadden (Nevada Fence) as 1st vice president and secretary, Brandon Hill (Carter Hill Homes) as 2nd vice president and Ty Nebe (Plumas Bank) as treasurer to the 2024 board of directors. The event will include dinner, a signature cocktail, industry updates and more. Tickets for the event are $100 per person and tables and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
