Carson City's Grocery Outlet closes North Carson Street store, to reopen Feb. 3 on William Street

Grocery Outlet on North Carson Street in Carson City will close for good Thursday, relocating to 2100 East William Street, celebrating with a grand opening next week.
Mike Blewett and Bobbie Johnson, Carson City Grocery Outlet independent operators, invite the community to attend the relocation grand opening celebration on Thursday, Feb. 3.
In a Facebook post to its Carson City customers, the owners stated the following Thursday:
"This is it Carson City, our last day open. Time to say goodbye to Grocery Outlet on North Carson Street and hello to Grocery Outlet on 2100 East William Street.
We would like to thank our wonderful community for supporting this location for more than 30 years. We know that for many of you this store means so much more than just groceries. So come on by North Carson Grocery Outlet one last time for some killer deals or to just say goodbye.
We will see you at the new store in 7 days!"
The new location is within the shopping center that use to house Scolari's, across from the Gold Dust West near Capriotti's and next to the 99 Cents Only Store.
In celebration of the relocation grand opening, from Thursday, Jan. 27 through Thursday, March 3, customers may enter for a chance to win $1,000 in groceries. To enter, customers may access the online contest here.
Entry must include a valid, working email address where the entrant can be notified. Winner need not be present to win but must claim prize within three days of notification or another winner will be chosen.
