April casino gaming revenue flat in Carson City, up 31.59 percent at south shore Lake Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe generated $11,243,104 in "gaming win" for April 2024, down 0.99 percent from April 2023.
Meanwhile, casinos at Lake Tahoe's south shore took in gaming revenue of $17,994,339, up 31.59 percent from April 2023. Casinos at North Lake Tahoe also did well, up 15.55 percent compared to April 2023.
Elsewhere, casinos in Reno, Sparks and other areas of Washoe County were down in gaming generated revenue for April.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,240,195,370 for the month of April 2024. This amounts to a 6.95 percent increase compared to April 2023, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,159,587,987.
