The Brother Dan show welcomes Eric Henry Andersen on Oct. 31 at Carson City's Bank Saloon
Monday, October 31, Brother Dan will feature keyboardist/songwriter Eric Henry Andersen. A founding member of Reno band The Novelists, the casual chat and jam format will give audiences a close-up view into his life and career.
The music starts at 4:30pm at the Bank Saloon in Carson City, and the show is available to online audiences at 5:00pm on Facebook at the host’s music page, Brother Dan Palmer.
Andersen tours regularly, and performs as a solo act and duo, in addition to his work with The Novelists, and his performance credits include shows and festivals across the country, including opening for Train, Bag Bad Voodoo Daddy, and others. Carson City audiences may recognize him from his appearance at the BAC’s Leavitt-Amp concert series.
Originally from Wisconsin, where he began to play viola at a young age, Eric was eventually drawn to the piano. He moved to Reno in 2008 to compete on the University of Nevada ski team, but his devotion to music soon led him to pursue a musical career.
Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St., features a variety of live music throughout the week. On Mondays, local restaurant (and show sponsor) Mangia Tutto provides free munchies during The Brother Dan Show, to accompany the craft cocktails that this historic local venue is known for.
