Sierra Arts Foundation to host Holiday Music and Art Festival at Carson City's Silver Saddle Ranch
Sierra Arts Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for arts and the artists that create it within a 200 mile radius of the Reno, Sparks region, is hosting the first Holiday Music and Art Festival in partnership with the Carson City Parks and Recreation department at Silver Saddle Ranch on Nov. 18.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to the public. It will feature artists, vendors, musicians and other nonprofit groups in advance of the holiday season.
Artists joining the sale include Judith Von Klug, J. Renee Ekleberry, Reena Marie Spansail, Juan De Dios Robles, Teresa Loera and Nickie Robinson. Attendees will find artwork ranging from acrylic paintings and mixed media art to watercolor paintings, ceramic wares, lino cut prints, music and apparel. Wagon rides will also be available at the sale.
“We’re delighted for this sale to take place in Carson, as Sierra Arts Foundation continues developing its presence within the region,” said Tracey Oliver, executive director at Sierra Arts Foundation. The nonprofit also hosted an art sale in June of 2023 on the legislature grounds.
The nonprofit is currently inviting artists, musicians and nonprofits to display at the event. Interested parties can learn more register here.
