Carson City Kiwanis to host 8th annual Pancreatic Cancer Golf Tournament
Carson City Kiwanis to host its 8th Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day fundraiser on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Silver Oak Golf Course in Carson City, NV.
The annual event has raised over $90,000 toward the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and another $30,000 toward the Marilyn Elain Academic Scholarship, which is awarded annually to local high school graduates.
Activities include a 4-person Scramble Golf Tournament and the Carson City Bench Press Championships.
The 4-person Scramble is expected to be a sold-out event. The golf tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. Golf carts and lunch will be provided. Divisions include Men's, Women's, Mixed, Senior Men's, Senior Women's, and Senior Mixed.
The Carson City Bench Press Championships will take place on the Silver Oak Clubhouse patio from 7:00-09:00 a.m. Divisions include, youth (up to 13), teenager’s (14-18), men’s, women’s, senior men’s (55-70), senior women’s (55-70), and super senior (70+). This event will be organized by FitnessFor10.
