Reality TV Star Johnny Bananas to attend Reno Aces' Opening Night
Renowned for his appearances on MTV’s The Challenge and The Real World, television personality Johnny Bananas will attend the Reno Aces’ Opening Night on April 7. Game time from Greater Nevada Field is set for 6:35 p.m., when the Aces will take the field against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
Johnny Bananas will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, sign autographs for fans and participate in an on-field contest between innings.
An Orange County, Calif., native, Johnny Devenanzio graduated from Penn State University, where he earned the nickname “Johnny Bananas” because of his pranks and antics. He was cast on The Real World: Key West in May 2005, and continued work with MTV on The Challenge, where he has participated in 13 challenges and won more than $400,000.
