The Carson City Classic Cinema Club presents: The Agony and the Ecstasy
Join the Carson City Classic Cinema Club for our monthly viewing! Our theme for Tuesday, April 7 viewing is the religious epic "The Agony and the Ecstasy."
The 1965 film, starring Charlton Heston as Michelangelo and Rex Harrison as Pope Julius II, deals with their conflict over the painting of the Sistine Chapel.
The club meets in the back room at Red's Old 395 Grill (1055 S. Carson Street in Carson City) at 6:30 PM on the first Tuesday of every month.
We are a group of classic film enthusiasts who gather monthly to view and discuss pre-1970 movies. Additionally, we have a mission to encourage and support local artists, contributing to our community's artistic culture.
