If application requests exceed funding available, the Nevada Arts Council will prioritize geographic diversity and underserved populations.

CARSON CITY — Nevada Supreme Court Justice Mark Gibbons will be retiring from the Nevada Supreme Court in January 2021, capping a nearly 24-year career as a member of Nevada’s judiciary. Distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine is underway within the state of Nevada, including our local communities in the north. Those who are first up to receive the vaccine include health care personnel and long term care facilities as a part of the first phase of Tier 1 distribution.

A multi-agency law enforcement investigation led authorities to approximately 446 grams of methamphetamine, multiple stolen firearms and other stolen property after a search warrant was executed at a Dayton residence earlier this month, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
