Western Nevada College, Capital City Art Initiative to showcase 'Art from WNC'
The Capital City Arts Initiative is presenting an “ART from WNC” exhibition starting Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Community Development Building — “The Brick” — 108 E Proctor Street in Carson City.
Twenty-one student artists from Western Nevada College are represented in the exhibit that is open to the public at no cost from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 1 through March 30.
ART from WNC includes a cache of creativity, including graphic design, drawing, photography and book art pieces that show the diversity of the students’ imagination.
Work from students in Jayna Conkey and Stephen Reid’s WNC art classes are part of the exhibition.
