This women's self-defense course focused on risk awareness, risk reduction and personal safety. It will teach you alertness, avoidance, space management, and a system of resisting possible assaults using simple-to-learn, gross-body movements that take advantage of natural instincts.

Informative classes on Orthodox Christianity for inquirers are held Wednesday evenings at St. Sebastian Orthodox Church: the next one is Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship room at 1819 N. Carson Street, Carson City.
