Blueberg pitches no-hitter against Lovelock
It was just a four-inning game, but Colby Blueberg supplied some good news for the Carson High baseball team by pitching a no-hitter to beat Lovelock 12-0 during its own preseason tournament on Friday morning. And the no-hitter in itself wasn't necessarily the best news, if you ask coach Cody Farnworth.
"Colby is going to be a key player for us whether he's pitching or in the field," Farnworth said of Blueberg, who is also a middle infielder for the Senators. "We need him to come in and give us a second pitcher. We need him to step up and he did just that today."
