Born in Auburn, California in November of 1942, Mosey grew up on a Sierra foothills ranch in Placer County and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960. She came to the eastern Sierra Nevada in 1965 where she taught two generations of children and raised her own family.

After babying the sickly thing for years, I finally gave in and had it cut down.
The tree was here when we moved in 30 years ago and it didn’t look great then. It never really grew.
Why did it die? Bronze birch borers had infested the tree and it never recovered.

Carson City BMX 2018 racing season opening

Hopefully, Mother Nature will be kind and let the track dry out so that we may complete the prep work.
So, fingers crossed, first race of the season is scheduled for Sunday, April 1 with sign-ups from 9-10 a.m. Racing begins shortly thereafter.
There will be an Easter egg hunt as well as a bunny hop contest. So get your bikes tuned up, find your gear, grab your helmet, and let's race!

The Carson Hot Springs aren’t afraid of a little snow, and a special visit from Megan the Mermaid will make the icy hot experience more memorable. This helped to keep firefighters more situationally aware and able to mount appropriate responses more rapidly over tens of thousands of square miles of forests and rangelands, including rural communities.
