This Monday, April 18 local audiences are invited to the Bank Saloon in Carson City for The Brother Dan Show, which will welcome internationally-travelled violinist Mickey Lufkin.

The Carson City Symphony Association presentation of “Joyful Noise — A Holiday Treat” concert is available for viewing on the Carson City Symphony channel on YouTube here and from Facebook.com/CarsonCitySymphony here. The concert features John and Cherie Shipley with their Joyful Noise Chorus and Band. They have been performing "Joyful Noise" concerts each December since 2002.

UPDATE: There will be no live audience. The guidance from the city changed after the original press release was released. Anyone who bought tickets ahead of time can get reimbursed or have the money donated to the Carson City Symphony Assoc. Coming to Carson City on Friday, May 17, the Brewery Arts Center Celtic Series features The Sophie & Fiachra Trio who will perform in the Maizie Harris Jesse Theatre.
