Chinese New Year, Carson Comedy Club's military appreciation night, live music and more: Carson City region readies for weekend

Events include a Chinese New Year Celebration at the Nevada State Museum and the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada. The Carson Comedy Club hosts its first Military Appreciation Night on Friday at the Carson Nugget. Carson Valley’s 18th annual Eagles and AG Photo Contest will be underway and live music will keep the Silver State buzzing with excitement. Read on for more information.
Mosaic Class 101 offered Jan. 26 in Dayton

This is Mosaic Class 101 and is a 2 to 2 ½-hour class and is designed to help you learn to use the bare necessities and to help you plan for your next project. Sunday Afternoon Tea with the Carson City Historical Society

The "Tea" will feature a new menu by Chef Mauricio Leon of Capital Eats, which is located in the Westside Pour House in Carson City. Chef Mauricio has over 15 years of experience and has a passion for creating delicious foods and unique menus, using locally grown produce when they are available.
