But as people work to protect their health by staying indoors and ordering online, small businesses tend to suffer. However, in Carson City, the community response has been strong this holiday season, and shoppers have been taking advantage of both in-person shopping as well as online shopping through local vendors.
Carson City Elks Lodge donation will provide Christmas for 30 local children as part of Holiday with a Hero program

Rainbow Girls keep over 30 years of tradition alive with Carson Mall Gift Wrapping fundraiser

You can bring your gifts to the Mall and the Rainbow Girls will wrap them with love and care. This is the Rainbow Girls' yearly fundraiser and an appropriate donation for the size and amount of gifts is requested.
WNC Geology Club’s Annual Rock, Gem and Fossil Sale to Raise Scholarship Funds

Carson City area bars and taverns have been collecting turkeys since October. On Saturday, Lt. Mark Cyr took several soldiers and volunteers from The Salvation Army out “bar hopping” collecting turkeys to help out needy families.
