Signups underway for Carson City Chamber's Halloween-themed golf tourney

The Carson City Chamber has partnered with the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada to temporarily reduce some of the fatigue by organizing a bit of Halloween golf and fun for those who just want to enjoy the outdoors while practicing all the current COVID safety protocols.
Since winter is right around the corner, there may not be many chances left to play golf.

Realizing the renewed interest in golf, the Carson City Chamber is taking the golf tournament to the next level.
7th Carson City Kiwanis Pancreatic Cancer golf, bench press tourney raises more than $13K
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 09/22/2020 - 7:25amCarson City Kiwanis hosted the 7th Annual Pancreatic Cancer Golf Tournament and Carson City Bench Press Championships at Silver Oak Golf Course Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. The sold-out event resulted in 140 golfers teeing off and 9 weightlifters bench pressing to raise over $10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and over $3,000 for the Marilyn Elaine Scholarship.

Supercar stops traffic on Curry Street

According to General Manager Tim Milligan, the half-million dollar car is one of only about 500 of this model in the U.S. This particular car is destined for a private party buyer in the area.
