If you're a fan of Pink Floyd, the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City sends a "hey you" shout out from above and beyond. The Reno-based tribute band known as "The Floyd" will launch a full array of stunning sight and sound glory in the capital city June 13-14.

The Floyd is well known throughout Northern Nevada for its uncanny musical stylings, spectacular laser light show and iconic Pink Floyd eye-popping videos.

The Brewery Arts Center will hold a FREE Family Film Night this Friday, May 2, 7 p.m. It will be held at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W King Street, and is in partnership with Living Stones Church.

The film "Frozen" will be featured and snacks are included along with some special surprises for the evening. Please come ready to have a fun and relaxing evening!

Sierra Nevada Ballet will present its annual spring concert, Brew, Brats and Ballet in Carson City on May 17, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street.

This eclectic event invites the audience to enjoy sausages, salads and a beverage while sampling a wide variety of innovative and exciting short new Sierra Nevada Ballet choreographic offerings ranging from classical ballet to more contemporary work.

Wild Horse Children’s invites you to travel back to the legendary, storytelling days of ancient China with Disney’s Mulan, Jr., the action-packed, musical stage adaptation of the Disney film. Complete with authentic Chinese dancing and even an avalanche, this production of Disney’s Mulan, Jr. will be marching its way to Northern Nevada on April 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and April 12 and 13 at 2 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street in Carson City.

Carson City's Wild Horse Children’s Theater invites you to travel back to the legendary, storytelling days of ancient China with Disney’s Mulan, Jr., the action-packed, musical stage adaptation of the Disney film.

There will be a free workshop in traditional Chinese dance with Nevada Arts Council artist Xian Na Carlson on Monday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 West King Street. All ages and experience levels welcome.

The Mile High Jazz Band Association and the Brewery Arts Center present pianists Alexander Tutunov, Lisa DeSpain, and Tristan Selzler in a Piano Summit on Sunday, August 4, 1:30 to 4:15 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street, Carson City. Admission is free.

Entertainers Laura Hall of "Whose Line Is It Anyway? and "The Second City" and her husband, Rick Hall of "Curb Your Enthusiasm” will present a one day intensive Music Improv Workshop in Carson City.

American spoken word artist, writer, journalist, publisher, actor, radio DJ, activist and former singer-songwriter Henry Rollins will arrive in Carson City on Friday, Sept. 14, 8 p.m. for a performance at the Brewery Arts Center.
Rollins' stop in Carson City is part of a two-month tour along the campaign trail this fall where he is hitting all 50 state capitals and wrapping up on the eve of the Presidential election in the nation's capital.

Jazz from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carson Plaza Senior Living, 2120 E. Long St., features performances by Judith Ames and friends. Song stylist Judith Ames has been singing jazz and Latin tunes in multiple languages around the area for the past six years. She will be joined by two fabulous musicians - Rocky Tatarelli, on tenor sax, and Paul January on keys.

It's "big-band jazz times two" when the Mile High Jazz Band presents the eighth annual Mile High-Carson High Jazz Extravaganza, on Friday, January 21, 2011, 8:00 p.m., at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street, Carson City. The concert, sponsored by the Brewery Arts Center and the Mile High Jazz Band Association, is a benefit for the Carson High Jazz Band programs.

Pink Floyd tribute band Eclipse returns to the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 with an astonishing laser light and effects show that will mesmerize the audience. There pristine re-creation of the music of legendary band Pink Floyd is nothing short of the ultimate concert extravaganza for which Pink Floyd was known.

Pianist Dr. Ron Williams performed the 50th Anniversary Recital of Toccatas and Sonatas Thursday night at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall.

The event was put on as a fundraiser for Carson City Symphony’s String for the School Program. More than fifty people attended, ranging from children to seniors.

The Recital featured songs written and originally played by J.S. Bach, D. Scarlatti, Paradisi, Haydn, Schumann, Beethoven and Ravel.

Williams was accompanied by his wife Genevieve Williams, who also assisted him while he was performing.
