Pink Floyd tribute band 'The Floyd' goes full throttle at Brewery Arts Center

If you're a fan of Pink Floyd, the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City sends a "hey you" shout out from above and beyond. The Reno-based tribute band known as "The Floyd" will launch a full array of stunning sight and sound glory in the capital city June 13-14.

The Floyd is well known throughout Northern Nevada for its uncanny musical stylings, spectacular laser light show and iconic Pink Floyd eye-popping videos.

Free Friday family film night featured at Brewery Arts Center

The Brewery Arts Center will hold a FREE Family Film Night this Friday, May 2, 7 p.m. It will be held at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W King Street, and is in partnership with Living Stones Church.

Wild Horse Children's Theater Performance of Mulan Jr. Continues

Wild Horse Children’s invites you to travel back to the legendary, storytelling days of ancient China with Disney’s Mulan, Jr., the action-packed, musical stage adaptation of the Disney film. Complete with authentic Chinese dancing and even an avalanche, this production of Disney’s Mulan, Jr. will be marching its way to Northern Nevada on April 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and April 12 and 13 at 2 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. There will be a free workshop in traditional Chinese dance with Nevada Arts Council artist Xian Na Carlson on Monday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 West King Street. All ages and experience levels welcome.

Actor, writer, musician Henry Rollins at Brewery Arts Center

American spoken word artist, writer, journalist, publisher, actor, radio DJ, activist and former singer-songwriter Henry Rollins will arrive in Carson City on Friday, Sept. 14, 8 p.m. for a performance at the Brewery Arts Center.
Rollins' stop in Carson City is part of a two-month tour along the campaign trail this fall where he is hitting all 50 state capitals and wrapping up on the eve of the Presidential election in the nation's capital.

Drop-In Karaoke Night – Idol Style! (No age limit)

Pianist delivers benefit performance at Brewery Arts Center

Pianist Dr. Ron Williams performed the 50th Anniversary Recital of Toccatas and Sonatas Thursday night at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall.

The event was put on as a fundraiser for Carson City Symphony’s String for the School Program. More than fifty people attended, ranging from children to seniors.

The Recital featured songs written and originally played by J.S. Bach, D. Scarlatti, Paradisi, Haydn, Schumann, Beethoven and Ravel.

Williams was accompanied by his wife Genevieve Williams, who also assisted him while he was performing.
