Brewery Arts Center director breathes new life into Carson City arts community

The Class of 2020-2021, while practicing social distancing and wearing the latest fashion in face masks, gathered together at 6:00 a.m. Sept. 4 on the bleachers of the CHS football field to watch their sun rise.

The festival was founded in 2004. This is the first year in which gathering of large crowds at musical events has been restricted due to health concerns.

PHS is accredited through AdvancED and has been recognized by the Nevada Department of Education as a “Highlighted School” for achievement in 2011 and 2018. Students at PHS have been able to earn an Associate’s Degree from WNC along with their high school diploma free of charge.

The exhibition will be in the gallery through Sept. 24, 2020.
