According to the arrest report, officers responded to the 2300 block of Carmine Street at 10:05 p.m. in reference to a call to Carson City 911 dispatch from a crying woman. Officer made contact with the suspect who answered the door with a baby in his hands. Officers immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana with a cloud of smoke in the residence.
The officer asked what was going on and the suspect didn't answer. The officer informed the man that someone had called 911. The man said he didn't know who called 911. The officer asked if he could come inside to make sure everyone was safe and the man voluntarily allowed the officer entry into the home, the arrest report states. Once inside, the officer made contact with a woman in the back bedroom and asked her what happened. The woman said she wasn't sure.
