Teens invited to Carson City Library to upcycle discarded books into gift bags

The Carson City Library is hosting a workshop to upcycle discarded books into original gift bags on Wednesday, Dec. 19 for local teenagers.

All instructions and supplies will be provided; you only have to register to be a part of the workshop!

"Browse through colorful picture books for inspiration, or use text-rich books to create a work of art that doubles as a gift bag," said a spokesperson for the library.

Dayton Farmers Market is celebrating National Farmers Market Week

With summer in full swing, the farmers market in Dayton is the place to be for local flavor on Thursday afternoons.
