Theatreworks of Northern Nevada performs 'A Charlie Brown Chrismas' at Carson City's Brewery Arts Center
One day only to catch this holiday event.
For the first time, the Brewery Arts Center partners with TheatreWorks of Northern Nevada to bring you A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS.
This classic animated special will come to life in this faithful stage adaptation, in which Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts Gang discover the true meaning of Christmas.
When Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees among everyone during the Christmas Season, Lucy suggests that he become the director of the school Christmas pageant.
Charlie Brown accepts, but this proves to be a frustrating endeavor. When an attempt to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas fir tree fails, he needs Linus' help to discover the real meaning of Christmas.
TheatreWorks will perform this play for two shows on one day; Dec. 22 at 2pm and 7pm in the Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater
Directed by Elisha Harris and Jordan Villamor, tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children/students/seniors and military.
Tickets are available for purchase at Breweryarts.org or in the Expresso Yourself Café at 449 West King Street.
