Crime Log: Man arrested for two felony warrants, other charges
A routine registration check of a vehicle led a Carson City sheriff's deputy to arrest Bradford "Brad" Waren Stone, 30, an unemployed Dayton resident, at around 1 p.m. Tuesday, near the 2800 block of Concord Dr.
An officer ran the plates of a grey Dodge ram and discovered that it's registration was expired and that there was a warrant out for one of the registered owners. After being pulled over, Stone admitted to having a pipe used for smoking methamphetamines, and marijuana.
Stone was arrested for several existing warrants: a felony possession of stolen property, a felony probation violation, and two misdemeanor failures to appear. He was also arrested for driving with a suspended license, driving under suspended registration, having no proof of insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.
Total bail was set at $4750 plus administrative fees, but the two felony warrants held no bail.
