TOCCATA Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus holiday concert coming to Carson City, Gardnerville
TOCCATA, also known as Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, will conclude its 16th season with a production of Handel's Messiah, along with seasonal carols through December.
Vocal soloists for these performances will include soloists from their chorus and other area musicians.
The TOCCATA Orchestra features Brian Fox and Jeffrey Lindhorst as Concertmasters; David Brock and Nick Haines as continuo; with William Cates and Joe Savage on Baroque (piccolo) Trumpet. All performances will be conducted by Maestro James Rawie.
Performances are being planned for several distinct and festive venues:
Sunday, Dec. 5, 3 p.m., The Cornerstone Church, Incline Village
Friday, Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, Gardnerville
Sunday, Dec. 12 3 p.m., The Sierra Bible Church, Truckee
Saturday, Dec. 18, 3 p.m., Brewery Arts Center, Carson City
Sunday, Dec. 19, 3 p.m., St. Theresa's Catholic Church, South Lake Tahoe
Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes prior to the concert, or online (using the link below.) Before buying tickets, be sure to take note of our COVID-19 vaccination and mask requirements. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required and masks must be properly worn during these concerts.
General admission to all church concerts is $30 for adults. Seniors enjoy a $5 discount, and youth 23 and under are admitted free. "Front and Center" preferred seating prices are $40 for adults and $15 for youth/students.
