Lyon County authorities ask for public's help locating missing Fernley woman
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office asking for the public’s help locating a Fernley woman who has been reported missing and endangered.
Nancy Vandenput, 57, was last seen in the Jason Court area of Fernley around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and has not been seen or heard from since, according to LCSO.
She was seen driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup, silver in color, with Nevada license plate VM3783. There is also a USMC Bulldog sticker on the rear of the truck. She is known to have ties to the Reno area.
Vandenput is a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 101 pounds. She has green eyes, has sandy blonde hair and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a flannel jacket of unknown color.
