Carson City Sheriff's Office log: Two booked on felony warrants
A 42-year-old Carson City woman was booked into Carson City Jail on Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging burglary and possession of stolen property, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
Christina Michelle Pasos, an inmate at Carson City jail, was about to be released from custody on local charges when it was discovered she had the outstanding felony warrant. The warrant was issued Jan. 28, 2016 out of Las Vegas Justice Court. Bail: $30,000.
In other arrests:
— A 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday for a felony fraud warrant and other charges, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Sarah Elizabeth Curtis was taken into custody at Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street at 11:30 p.m. She also faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor outside agency warrant out of Reno, possession of drug paraphernalia and petit larceny.
According to the arrest report the woman attempted to steal $82.56 in merchandise from Walmart and was stopped by security. She admitted to taking the items without the intention of paying for them, the arrest report states.
Deputies learned she had the felony warrant issued out of Carson City Justice court for allegedly uttering a forged instrument. The warrant was issued in September and listed a $5,000 bail amount. She also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Reno Justice Court for alleged trespassing and battery with cash bail of $1,344.
During the in-custody search of the woman’s purse a deputy located drug paraphernalia and a small amount of heroin in a pouch of tinfoil. Bail: $10,470.
— A 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 7:01 p.m. in the area of Thompson and Hillcrest streets for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 4:22 a.m. in the 200 block of Harbin Street for misdemeanor suspicion of violation of conditions.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area for a report of a domestic disturbance with several subjects outside. The 20-year-old was among them. He identified himself to a deputy.
A wants and warrant check advised he was under the supervision of the Department of Alternative Sentencing with a “no alcohol” clause. He provided a breath sample with a .072 and was arrested. Bail: $3,000.
