Several injured in vehicle crash late Thursday on Kings Canyon Road
UPDATE 2:24PM: From the Nevada Highway Patrol: Seven juveniles were involved in Thursday's crash in west Carson City on Kings Canyon Road. Five were not wearing seat belts, two were ejected. Two are suffering life threatening injuries, and 3 are in critical condition.

UPDATE 12:09 PM: A Carson High School student and friend of the seven Carson City teens injured in a rollover accident has created a GoFundMe account to help with medical expenses. The conditions of the seven injured have not been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

UPDATE 1:10AM: Seven teenagers were injured, some critically, in a single vehicle rollover crash that happened late Thursday night on Kings Canyon Road, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. The injuries involved high school-aged students.
The accident was reported at 10:46 p.m. and involved an SUV, said Furlong. It happened around a quarter mile west of the intersection of Kings Canyon and Longview. Injuries range from moderate to severe, said Furlong.
Kings Canyon Road was reopened later this morning.
Those injured were taken by either air ambulance or ground ambulance to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno and Carson Tahoe Hospital, said Furlong.
There is no school on Friday in recognition of Veterans Day.

Several people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash that happened late Thursday night on Kings Canyon Road.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said at least seven people in one vehicle overturned causing multiple injuries. Some of the injuries were critical. Air and ground ambulances have responded.
Kings Canyon Road is closed. Nevada Highway Patrol crash investigators have also been called to the scene.
