Carson City man jailed for felony burglary, credit card fraud warrants
A 36-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Tuesday for four felony warrants alleging two counts fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts burglary, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Joshua Andrew Peterson was booked into jail at 10:45 a.m. following a transfer from Washoe County Jail. The warrants were issued Sept. 27, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $80,000, bondable at $20,000.
In other arrests:
— A 28-year-old Carson City woman, Anna Ashley Klos, was arrested Tuesday, 3:25 a.m. in the area of Woodside Drive and Siskiyou Drive for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and four misdemeanors: Violation of Alternative Sentencing conditions, open container, no proof of insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.
According to the arrest report a deputy made a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling east on Woodside Drive that did not have a visible license plate.
The woman told the deputy she had purchased the vehicle and had neither insurance or registration in the vehicle, the report states. The deputy checked dispatch and was told she was under supervision through the Department of Alternative Sentencing with no alcohol, drugs or drug paraphernalia conditions.
While conducting an inventory prior to tow, a deputy located an open container of alcohol near the center console and a plastic case with suspected methamphetamine in the woman’s purse. She was arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, violation of conditions, open container, no proof of insurance and no proof of registration. Bail: $6,541.
— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 7:13 p.m. in the 2700 block of Gardner Lane for misdemeanor suspicion of battery and violation of bail conditions. According to the arrest report, a client at a group home allegedly slapped a staff member. Bail: $4,137.
— A 48-year-old man was booked into jail Tuesday, 10:45 a.m. on a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued in September 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— Three were arrested Monday, 11:47 a.m. in the 3400 block of Market Street for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 31-year-old Minden man and a 28 year-old Gardnerville man each face a single charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after a methamphetamine pipe was found. Bail: $1,132 each. Also arrested was a 27-year-old Gardnerville woman for a violation of suspended sentence warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for the Gardnerville woman: $4,132.
