Carson City area casinos see September gaming revenue increase of nearly 4.5 percent
Casinos in Carson City and Carson Valley with the exception of Stateline at Lake Tahoe saw a gaming “win” of $9,221,835 for the month or a 4.48 percent increase from September 2016.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $979,859,876 for the month of September 2017, amounting to a 3.25 percent increase compared to last September. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2017 through Sept. 30, 2017), gaming win has increased 5.01 percent.
Meanwhile casinos at Stateline, Lake Tahoe saw a decrease in gaming revenue of 2.96 percent. North Lake Tahoe casinos fared better with a gaming revenue increase of 16.53 percent.
Casinos in Washoe County including Reno and Sparks all saw gaming revenue increases.
