On Sunday afternoon, October 9th, at approximately 2:00 pm, troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on US Highway 50 Alternate, approximately 8 miles south of Fernley. The details of the incident consist of a silver 2003 Mazda Protégé 4-door sedan, driven by 21-year-old Carolyn M. Dana of Carson City, which was traveling southbound on the two-lane highway where the speed limit is posted 65 miles per hour.
