Community resource fair Wednesday in Virginia City, flu clinics throughout Storey County in October
Storey County residents can access numerous flu vaccination clinics across the county, as well as a Community Resource Fair in the months of September and October. In collaboration with Nevada Health Centers and Quad Counties, these events aim to ensure easy vaccination opportunities and promote a healthier community.
The Community Resource Fair is happening on Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City. Attendees will be able to meet with local entities including officials with the Storey County Sheriff’s Office, Storey County Fire and Community Chest. Immunize Nevada will also be at the event administering flu shots from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This year, more than ever, it's vital for our community members to get their flu shots as we get more into the colder months.
By providing multiple clinics across Storey County, every resident has a convenient opportunity to get vaccinated.
Aside from the Community Resource Fair, residents will be able to stop by various flu and Covid shot clinics. Please see the details below for more information.
