Radio Meets Film on It's Your City featuring Carson City Classic Cinema Club
In this week's edition of It's Your City, host Cortney Bloomer sits down with Rhonda Abend from Carson City Classic Cinema Club to talk about classic films, tonight's showing of "Charade" and her weekly radio show about films.
Be it classic films or current local films, the club, also known as C5, is committed to bringing Carson City movie entertainment. Its regular schedule of classic films is shown on the first Tuesday of every month at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street.
C5 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, opportunity, tools, and supplies to local youth to encourage and support their participation in the arts. We strongly believe that exposure to the arts sharpens critical and creative skills and contributes to student achievement and success in school and beyond.
The C5 radio show airs every Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. KNVC 95.1 FM can be heard around Carson City, Carson Valley and Dayton areas and online.
