Bently Biofuels sells to Oregon company
Douglas County-based Bently Biofuels has sold to an Oregon-based company, in a deal announced Tuesday. SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel, which serves Oregon and Washington, closed on the deal with Bently Biofuels on Friday.
Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil or animal fat-based diesel fuel meant to be used in standard diesel engines. The Bently Biofuels plant was constructed in 2005 to convert used cooking oil from local restaurants into biodiesel. Capacity for the plant was initially 400,000 gallons produced per year.
